The Event

In 2010, JuneWarren-Nickle's Energy Group proudly launched a new competition to honour superior innovation and technical progress in the Canadian oil and gas industry. Each year, our Technology Stars competition selects leading-edge technologies that stand out from the crowd as exemplars of oilpatch ingenuity. The best technologies in a range of categories, including exploration, drilling, production and HSE, are announced in the December issues of Oil & Gas Inquirer and New Technology Magazine.

The Rules

To be nominated, a company must operate in Canada, with its product or service deployed in the country.

Judging Criteria

The judging panel consists of engineers, earth scientists from petroleum producers and/or consulting firms, along with individuals that have extensive experience in the oil and gas service sector.

As much as possible, judges make their award decisions by consensus. When necessary, selections are governed by majority vote.
