This two-day course provides a detailed and comprehensive introduction to Canada’s unconventional oil industry. The instruction begins with the history of the oilsands, and examines the downstream, midstream, and upstream operations that differentiates oilsands production from conventional methods.

Target Audience

This course is ideal for anyone who is new to the oilsands industry and those who work in the oilsands industry in professions not specifically related to oil and gas production and development (i.e. accounting, human resources. It is recommended that those without a petroleum background take Oilpatch 101 prior to taking Oilsands 101.
