Welcome to the next generation of oil and gas industry training! Oilpatch EX is a unique new two-day course that provides a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to the oil and gas industry.

Oilpatch EX features a three-part learning system. First, spend a day learning practical, relevant information in the Oilpatch EX classroom. Next, enhance your technical knowledge and industry vocabulary with e-learning modules. Finally, apply your knowledge in a team-based simulation. Compete to find oil and gas prospects, form joint ventures, drill wells, and evaluate return on investment in our simulation of the upstream value chain.

Frequency

  • Taught on a monthly basis in Calgary, excluding July, August, and December

  • Personalized course option for companies taught on location (minimum class size of 20)

Oilpatch EX is an ideal experience for anyone interested in learning more about the oil and gas industry, whether you’re an experienced drilling engineer or accountant new to the industry. Others who will benefit from the course include anyone who is:
