Cookies

A cookie is a small bit of information placed on your computer by a web page. It is used to identify you to the web server. It tells the server who you are when you return to a page at the same website. Your browser will only send a cookie back to the website that originally sent it to you. A cookie cannot run any programs, deliver any viruses, or send back information about your system.

Visited Links

  1. Visited links change color from blue to grey after being selected. This is to assist readers in identifying which pages they have read.

  2. Visited links don't change to grey or, after a period of time, default back to blue:

i)   Your Internet browser may be set up to clear the history after a certain period of time.
ii)  You can set up your browser to have the history clear every time you shut down your browser.
iii) You can set up your browser to clear the history after a certain number of days.

Note: Browser settings vary depending on manufacturer and version. Ask your system administrator how to check these settings in your particular browser.

Printing Articles

JuneWarren-Nickle's Energy Group provides a printer-friendly version that allows users to print individual articles for their own personal use.

  1. Click on the link to the article you wish to print
  2. Click on the "Printer Version" link
  3. Choose File > Print from the browser's menu bar; or,
  4. Click on the printer icon in the browser's button bar
