Saskatchewan Government Offers Three Parcels At Drilling Reservation Sale

SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 29. LANDS IN TOPKINS, CANTUAR & CYPRESS HILLS AREAS

THE DEPARTMENT OF MINERAL RESOURCES FOR THE PROVINCE OF SASKATCHEWAN has made available another three spreads of Crown owned petroleum and natural gas rights for sale on cash bonus basis as Drilling Reservations. Tenders for the purchase of these tracts will be accepted by the government department up to 4:00 p.m. September 29, 1955

The three separate spreads are all situated in the southwest sector of Saskatchewan. First tract, Block No. D6 is in the TOMPKINS CARMICHAEL area from 2 1/2 to 6 miles south of Carmichael railpoint 40 miles southwest of Swift Current city; the second spread available, Block No. D7 is in the EAST CANTUAR area 3 1/2 miles east of Cantuar railpoint and 5 miles north of Swift Current; kind the third tract, Block No. D8 is situated in the CYPRESS HILLS area 15 miles southeast of Maple Creek town and 60 miles southwest of Swift Current.

Under terms of the drilling reservation sale successful bidders on the parcels will be required to drill test wells within the limits of the reservation to test predetermined zones within one year of the purchase date. Each bid shall be accompanied by and include:
